This afternoon Larry Hryb, director of programming for Xbox LIVE and who is better known as Major Nelson, announced that he is leaving Xbox after 20 years with the company. The manager’s announcement was filled with messages from industry insiders. Among all of them, one company stood out: PlayStation. Just minutes after Major Nelson confirmed his departure from Xbox, the official PlayStation account felt it necessary to have a nod to one of the top competitive minds of his. How did PlayStation say goodbye to Major Nelson? With a short, but effective message that he did not need words to show the immense respect they have for him.
