In August 2022, KRAFTON revealed that PUBG Mobile will have a crossover with Dragon Ball Super, the hit anime from Toei Animation. Fans had to wait almost a year to discover all the news that will come to the free title as part of this unexpected and epic collaboration. The developers confirmed a few days ago that Goku and Vegeta will arrive at Battle Royale. Luckily, more characters from Akira Toriyama’s work will be part of this collaboration. Specifically, Gohan, Piccolo, and Frieza will also be available.

When will the collaboration of PUBG Mobile and Dragon Ball Super start?
The long-awaited crossover with Dragon Ball Super will debut on July 13 as part of PUBG Mobile’s 2.7 update. In addition to cosmetic items, new game modes and more content inspired by the animated series will be available for a limited time. Battle Royale: Dragon Ball Super is a standalone mode that will be available from July 15 to September 4. Here, players will put themselves in the shoes of the anime characters and will be able to fight on a completely new map while using special abilities. In the second mode, fans will have to collect all 7 Dragon Balls to summon Shenron and get power-ups.

With this collaboration, Ki is added, a new attribute for the characters. Players can release energy to improve their mobility and perform special abilities such as the Kamehameha and the flying technique. They can also consume Seeds of the Hermit to restore health and use the Dragon Radar to scan nearby crates. In addition, PUBG Mobile will receive 4 new areas inspired by iconic settings from Dragon Ball Super. Update 2.7 also adds other quality of life improvements, new features, and more content.
