Epson has launched four new compact desktop scanners, the ES-DC330, DS-C490, ES-C320W and ES-C380W, to help in digitization processes and provide tools to meet the challenges of hybrid work in offices: particularly shared spaces, smaller offices, and tight benchtop spaces. The new scanners offer a compact solution for saving benchtop space. They allow users to choose between different types of media feeding according to their needs, with speeds from 30 to 40 ppm, depending on the model. wide variety of documents, means that in shared and hybrid work environments where space is very small, users can easily adapt and access high-quality scanning tools for digitalization processes”, explains Álex Mateo, product manager from Epson.

New Epson A4 scanners

The ES-C320W and ES-C380W models allow wireless scanning, and the inclusion of the Epson ScanWay application with the ES-C380W allows users to use the product as a single solution, selecting a workflow from the equipment touch panel and scanning to any folder or directory, without the need for a PC.

Users can scan to the most popular cloud services, including OneDrive, Sharepoint online and Microsoft Teams, with Epson Connect. All models include a wide range of image and text enhancement technologies, including OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and document protection features to simplify file destination selection or the workflow. As an organization, Epson places sustainability as a priority, and is committed to using up to 30% recycled plastic material in these products. This is one more step towards the strategic goal of becoming a free underground resource company by 2050.
