2N has launched a new, improved version of its flagship product, its 2N IP Verso 2.0 video door entry unit. This update has been developed in response to surveys carried out on neighborhood communities and corporate clients, where their needs and requirements regarding access control have been compiled. These innovations have been possible thanks to the power of the new ARTPEC-7 processor, a chip developed by Axis, the parent company of 2N. “The IP Verso board is a benchmark in the video door entry industry due to its modularity and reliability. However, the market demands new solutions both in terms of security and access control. For this reason we have evolved to the 2N IP Verso 2.0 version to meet the needs of corporate and residential customers”, explains Julio Castillo, 2N Country Manager in Iberia. The security updates of the 2N IP Verso 2.0 include a Full HD wide-angle camera, which meets the requirement of more than 50% of office projects and residential projects.
New features in the 2N IP Verso 2.0 video door entry panel include a Full HD wide-angle camera and adaptive Facial Zoom
Another added functionality is the adaptive Face Zooming, which allows an approach to the face of the visitor to facilitate their identification. This feature is available both on the response monitor and on smartphones. For its part, in terms of security, the video door entry unit has a new anodized aluminum structure, which makes it more resistant to vandalism attempts. Regarding flexibility For access control, this board now supports up to five different credentials, including QR codes, RFID cards, PIN codes, fingerprint and Bluetooth.
