Actor Tyler Hoechlin, who plays the great DC Comics hero in the Superman and Lois series, talks about the new Man of Steel.
Tyler Hoechlin started out as a minor in The CW’s Supergirl series, but gradually gained popularity and now has his own show and is the only surviving Arrowverse. For this reason, knowing his opinion about the reboot of Superman that they are planning for the cinema is so important. At a recent convention, when asked if he had been contacted to reprise the role in the cinema, Tyler Hoechlin said: “I have not had none of those conversations, no. I don’t think they want to double book me. So I guess… Hopefully we’ll have another schedule to worry about, so we’ll see. We’ll see. I’m excited to see it. I’m excited to see who they get. I’m sure it will be great. I’m a huge James Gunn fan and I’m excited to see what he does with it. I’m happy he’s in DC and whoever he is, I’m sure he’s going to do a phenomenal job.”
The actor asked fans to give the reboot a try.
Tyler Hoechlin as Superman“I think one of the things when you’re choosing this is, I mean…Knowing what the characters mean, I think, anyone who really cares about Superman, there’s a real love for the character, there’s a real concern for what he means. And I think James Gunn comes in so passionate, whoever he is, he’s going to be amazing.” Said Tyler Hoechlin. “I’m pretty sure that whoever comes in… It’s so funny, people jump up so fast to say: It’s not that, it’s not that! When they get someone, but I encourage everyone, whoever the next person that ends up being Superman is, give him a chance because I’m sure he’s going to be amazing.” “I think anyone who does this has a great love for him and a real care for the character, even me, who didn’t really grow up with the character. You know what Superman means to people, and I think it’s something you don’t get into unless you really care. I’m excited to see who the next person is.” Tyler Hoechlin concluded.
Superman and Lois For now, there are many rumors but no actor has been specified for the character. So for now all we can do is wait for James Gunn to get it right.
