Mario Kart 8, taking into account its launch from Wii U, has been the most successful installment of the franchise and it is not for nothing that it has been selling millions of copies for years and being one of the favorite titles in the Switch era. While Nintendo has indulged fans with more clues, the community is insatiable and has taken it upon itself to make mods that in some cases border on impressive.
The crossover between Mario Kart and Zelda: Ocarina of Time
A Mario Kart 8 fan and member of the modder community (via GameRant) presented the results of his new project, a track in the middle of Hyrule from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The scenario is taken from the 3DS remake version and although it lacks direction in terms of the direction to take in many sections, the reality is that it is presented as a quite attractive track due to the environment and the possibility of traveling at full speed, something that at the time we did with Epona but now it could be done with a fast kart.
Going around Hyrule at full speed in karts looks attractive
According to the comments, the favorite part was the jump that takes place from the Gerudo Desert to Laho Hylia, the strangest part to visit is Kakariko Village and without a doubt what comes out of the script and makes no sense is the final stretch in vertical ascent to the Mountain of Death. This is obviously a whim of the Mario Kart 8 modder community and for many it’s exciting. It should be noted that this is a track that takes 3 minutes in a single lap, very long by franchise standards but it is certainly something very interesting. Stay with us, at WTTSpod.
