Therefore, he would return to the DCU … but his return would not happen as everyone expected. According to James Gunn, he and Ben Affleck met for the last time last tuesday december 13. The meeting discussed potential DC Universe superhero projects the former Batman actor would be best directed to direct. “I met with Ben yesterday precisely because he wants to direct and we want him to direct,” said the president of DC Studios. “We just have to find the right project.”
