In Spain and Portugal, Sage has recorded recurring business growth of 3% per month and 6% per year. In addition, the company’s penetration in the region has increased, and now reaches 72%. On the other hand, renewals of native cloud solutions reach 98%. This was announced today by José Luis Martín Zabala, general director of Sage for Spain and Portugal. He has also spoken about the evolution of the fiscal year 2022 and about the plans for the fiscal year 2023.

Sage will launch a fund of 7 million for SMEs

At group level, the firm has billed 2,225 million euros in this fiscal year, which represents an increase of 5%, while net profit has fallen 3% to 300 million euros. “A large customer base they have already migrated from legacy solutions to hosted or cloud native solutions. 75% of clients worldwide have solutions of this nature. We are getting closer to our goal of being a 100% SaaS company”, comments José Luis Martín Zabala.

Sage Forecasts 2023

With a view to fiscal year 2023, the company has proposed to maintain the customer renewal rate at 100%, as well as to become a provider brand of the Kit Digital program. Regarding the latter, Sage is going to launch an initiative that will have a fund of 7 million euros. Available through partners certified as digitizing agents, the objective of which will be to help SMEs make the definitive leap to this type of aid. Another of their proposals for 2023 will be to strengthen their position as a provider of SaaS solutions for companies and continue to provide clients with updated solutions to legal changes.
