Pokémon Scarlet & Violet were released with incredible success, but they are not without errors. In fact, it is the worst launch of the franchise in terms of technical matters, due to the immense number of performance deficiencies. In the middle of the sea of bugs, there is one that makes the character go faster. The Pokémon Scarlet & Violet bugs can be a headache, but there are also other very curious ones that make you smile or laugh. There are others that can be somewhat useful, like one that was just discovered by the community that involves joysticks. Don’t forget to follow us on Google News.

How to run faster in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
The bug in question makes the character run faster in the lands of Paldea if you have a second controller. First, you need to use the Nintendo Switch console with Pokémon Scarlet & Violet in handheld mode and connect a second controller either a Joy-Con or a Pro Controller. Then the player simply has to move both character jog sticks (left) in the same direction to make the character run faster, as shown by Twitter users munosnail and duckvalentine.
Apparently in the new pokemon, if you plug in two controllers at once you can run twice as fast. Like you hold both joysticks and it just… adds the speed these devs had NO TIME lmao pic.twitter.com/q8ydxd9iub— Muno (@munosnail) November 20, 2022
Tested and confirmed the two controllers making you run double fast thing. wow!!! pic.twitter.com/eHWUmrHPv7— Rebekah Valentine (@duckvalentine) November 21, 2022
The funny thing is that this bug does not work when the stick is pointed forwards or up (0º) or apparently down (180º), to the sides (90º and 270º), but when they are tilted at any other angle. Additionally, this bug only works when the character is on foot. However, this is not practical at all, since it is preferable to go aboard Koraidon or Miraidon if you want to go faster. Also, this shows that Game Freak did not pay attention to this, but we do not doubt that now that it has been made public it will be corrected with an upcoming patch.
In case you missed it: fans are demanding refunds for the dismal performance of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
In case anyone is curious, this is most likely what’s happening: joysticks actually have a square range of values, not just a circle. Normally though, it’s limited both by the hardware (the circle around the stick) and software (1/?) pic.twitter.com/pOUIqSUptv—Osha 🏳️⚧️ | #DragaliaForever (@Oshamoff) November 20, 2022
