As previously announced, the franchise of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) held a major event in Japan, titled as “Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season – Special Event 2022”. The first part consisted of a symphonic concert, but it was the second part that included the news that brings us together today. During the aforementioned event, a new promotional image for the third part of the anime was revealed. Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Seasonconfirming that its premiere is scheduled for 2023. It should be noted that this third part is listed as “the last”, that is, the one that will finally close the anime adaptation of the popular manga by Hajime Isayama. It was also reported that this sequel will be the one that will completely end the animated franchise by adapting all the remaining chapters of the manga.
The final season anime adaptation has amassed a total of twenty-eight episodes to date, with sixteen airing in the season of Winter-2021 (January-March) and the other twelve issued in Winter-2022 (January-March). For his part, Isayama began publishing the manga in the magazine Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in September 2009 and finished it in April 2021, compiling the work in a total of thirty-four volumes.

Synopsis for Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season
Gabi Braun and Falco Grice have been training their entire lives to inherit one of the seven titans under Marley’s control and help their nation eradicate the Eldians on Paradis. However, just as all seems well for the two cadets, their peace is suddenly shaken by the arrival of Eren Yeager and the remaining members of the Scouting Corps. Having finally reached the Yeager family basement and learned of the dark history surrounding the Titans, the Survey Corps has finally found the answer they so desperately fought to discover. With the truth now in their hands, the group set off for the world beyond the walls. In this Final Season, two completely different worlds collide as each side pursues its own agenda in the long-awaited conclusion to Paradis’ fight for freedom.
