Marvel Studios’ Captain America: New World Order (2024) movie has sparked some controversy with its cast.

During the Phase 4in Marvel Studios They have gone to great lengths to bring characters from all over the world. moon knight was from Egypt, Shang Chi was of Asian descent Ms Marvel has family from Pakistan, etc… Now, it looks like that trend will continue in the Phase 5 despite the fact that it may generate some controversy. It all started during the D23 (Disney convention)when it was revealed that Captain America: New World Order would include the actress Shira Haas What Will know, an Israeli superheroine. She is a mutant with close ties to her government as she works for Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency.

Shira Haas (image by cordonpress) will be Sabra in Marvel StudiosThis caused that Marvel Studios was accused of entering the conflict between Israel Y Palestine. So they have made a statement to defend themselves: “While our characters and stories are inspired by comics. They are always freshly imagined for today’s screen and audiences, and the filmmakers are taking a new approach with the character of Sabra, who was first introduced in comics more than 40 years ago.”

The conflict they will show will not focus on current territorial issues.

Marvel Studios is planning a large-scale story all over the world. So in Captain America: New World Order probably the villains will have nothing to do with the conflict between Israel Y Palestine, so there is nothing to fear. Since they are still films for all audiences and they probably do not want to receive censorship from some countries. Although, lately many releases are being affected by this issue. For now we know that the film Captain America: New World Order will be led by julius onah (The Girl Is in Trouble, Luce) and the cast will include Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Shira Haas like sabra.Captain America: New World Order will hit theaters on May 3, 2024. While the rest of the films already released from Marvel Studios can be enjoyed in Disney Plus, the streaming platform that can be accessed through this link.
