Sousou no Frieren Synopsis
The Demon King has been defeated, and the victorious group of heroes have returned to their respective homes after disbanding. The four of them (mage Frieren, hero Himmel, priest Heiter, and warrior Eisen) reminisce about their decade-long journey when it’s time to say goodbye. But the passage of time is different for elves, so Frieren witnesses her beloved companions slowly dying. Before his death, Heiter manages to impose on Frieren a young human apprentice named Fern. Driven by the elf’s passion to collect a host of magical spells, the pair embark on a seemingly aimless journey, revisiting the places that the heroes of old had visited. Throughout his travels, Frieren slowly comes to grips with her regret at missed opportunities to form deeper bonds with her now-deceased comrades. Font: Comic Natalie
