Editorial: Gaming / Facebook / Twitter / YouTube / Instagram / News / Discord /Telegram / Google News Seven years after the premiere of Bloodborne, fans continue to recognize him as a great exponent of the Souls genre. There is so much desire to see a game with not only similar mechanics, but also similar setting, so they are looking forward to Lies of P. This project is very promising, but fans are making fun of one of its elements. There is no doubt that the project from the NEOWIZ studio is very promising, as it not only offers a gloomy aesthetic or a very attractive gameplay that evokes Bloodborne and the Souls genre for many, but it also looks like a very good game as a whole. However, extensive gameplay has just come to light that shows some great material, but there is something that disturbs the fantastic harmony of the experience. Lies of P was teased
We’re talking about voice acting. The demo that was shared at gamescom 2022 allowed those in charge to show more than half an hour of gameplay (via IGN) and included a boss that has some lines of dialogue. Fans certainly appreciated all the details and noted that the lines of dialogue are at odds with the feelings that the experience evokes, as when the player encounters the boss he expresses his dialogue without emotion and did not communicate the importance of the confrontation to come: “You cunning rascal, you will not pass this way,” says the boss named Mad Donkey. We leave you with the material in question so you can see what we are talking about.

Why is Lies of P’s voice acting so bad?
Naturally, this caused fans to poke fun at Mad Donkey’s manner of speaking and genuinely point out that it’s poor voice acting. However, there is something you should take into account. In the midst of doubts, the studio took the opportunity to talk about it and clarified that Mad Donkey speaks like this not because they have planned it that way, but because his voice acting is not yet ready. That said, the voice that Mad Donkey has on the demo is temporary while the studio implements the real thing. This is natural, since it is a demo that was not available to the public, but a presentation that the director of the project played for the media. Still, however, it’s striking that the developer chose to include voice acting (albeit temporarily) rather than not at all. It is important to say that some players noticed this and some criticized this sarcastically, but others did not and there were many who genuinely wondered if that voice acting would be the one in the final game. All in all, you should be sure that the game will have better voices, but we will have to wait to hear them. Are you waiting for Lies of P? Tell us in the comments.
