In the midst of all the excitement, the game had a bittersweet start because the bugs did their thing and the community did not take long to claim it, however a solution is already being worked on.

Bugs tarnish MultiVersus debut
Season 1 of MultiVersus started off a bit bumpy as some characters had flaws in their attack and defense moves, generating frustration among players. The controversy was not long in generating and the director of the game, Tony Huynh, came out into the ring to explain what happened. According to the creative director of MultiVersus, there was a mix up regarding content management for the release version so some elements that are being developed right now ended up there. According to Huynh, the above has to do with the adjustment of the impact and defense boxes, that is, the estimation of space that allows the execution of hit or block movements and their respective consequence.
We wanted to explain some of what happened yesterday. Some of our work-in-progress work slipped into the build causing a lot of issues. Some of our global hurt/hit box changes got pulled in accidentally as well as in-progress ammo cooldown system.— Tony Huynh (@Tony_Huynh) August 16, 2022
Likewise, the director of MultiVersus acknowledged that there are players who already enjoy doing very long combos, but he anticipated that this has its days numbered because they are already working on a system that will prevent these attacks from becoming an unfair advantage. Despite this, the creative promised that there will be a satisfactory proposal for the fans of the combos and they will be able to continue earning rewards for it. Finally, he assured that the development team is already working to solve these details as soon as possible and it will be in the next patch that the MultiVersus problems will find a solution. MultiVersus is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Still here at WTTSpod.
