Rem accepts and leaves Lugnica and flees to a small town in Kararagi. Rem, Subaru, and the Chamov named Chamov are in a dragon carriage. The very heavy atmosphere began to spread and the Chamov asked why the man was trembling like a girl. Subaru was sleeping and was apologizing for being weak to Emilia while she was sleeping, however Rem tells Chamov that he shouldn’t talk about other people’s situations so harshly. They came to a stop in Kararagi and Chamov gave them a bag and told them that they should go to the city of Banan. Rem asked why he was doing them the favor of giving them supplies and he said that they seemed innocent and had too much potential, he also told them that a friend named Halibel would help them there. Subaru was still shivering and sleeping, Rem tried to cheer him up, but Chamov advised Rem that the more bonds you make, the more good bonds you will receive, which he stated is a form of Kararagian which he believed.
