The internet has been largely on board with Coleman’s casting even before the series’ release. After the first sneak peek of The Sandman released in June 2022, which gave fans their first look at Johanna, many shared their positive reactions to Coleman’s portrayal of the character. In the comics, Lady Johanna Constantine is the ancestor of DC’s character John Constantine, first appearing in 1990’s The Sandman #13. Praise for Coleman’s work and the series has continued since The Sandman premiered on January 5. August on Netflix. Are there plans to expand The Sandman universe?
There are currently no plans from Netflix for Johanna Constantine or any of the other characters that inhabit The Sandman universe to have a spin-off. Work on the preparation of a second season of the series has already begun despite the fact that it is not yet greenlit. Executive producer David S.
