During the event Crunchyroll Expo 2022 A special video was revealed for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by kei sazane and illustrated by Ao Nekonabe, Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen (KimiSen: Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World). The video confirms that the previously announced sequel is a second season and that its premiere is scheduled for 2023 in Japan. Crunchyroll will handle distribution in the West. The first season of KimiSen It aired during the Fall-2020 season (October-December) and had twelve episodes. kei sazane Y Ao Nekonabe they began publishing the light novels through the imprint fantasy bunko from the publisher fujimishobo in May 2017. A manga adaptation by the hand of Okama is published in the Young Animal magazine of the publisher Hakusensha since May 2018.
