the japanese portal anime! anime! conducted a survey among its subscription readers with the question «What are your favorite maid characters?», between July 13 and 20 this year. The results were published as part of a recent article, which included the following introduction: “Several of the anime series for the Summer-2022 season (July-September) feature characters who work as maids, including “Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii (The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious)” and “Shadows House 2nd Season.” Therefore, Anime!
