Editorial: Gaming / Facebook / Twitter / YouTube / Instagram / News / Discord /Telegram Without a doubt, Stray is the video game of the moment thanks to its cat protagonist. Not only was it a hit with thousands of concurrent players on Steam, it also received critical and player acclaim. Beyond all of the above, it’s nice to discover that this project by Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studio was the engine that drove multiple charitable initiatives for, you guessed it, the most needy kittens. We recently told you that the publisher of this exploration title has partnered with the Nebraska Humane Society and Cats Protection charities in a great initiative. Specifically, the campaign seeks to raise funds to help kittens who live in unfavorable situations. This effort is very laudable, but it is certainly not enough to help all the stray cats that need help. Luckily, there are more and more organizations that decide to contribute their grain of sand. And yes, Stray is helping a lot with these noble charitable causes.

Shelter streams Stray on Twitch to get donations and help kittens
As highlighted by the Polygon portal (via Tarreo), the Crits for Cats animal shelter began broadcasting the Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studio video game on its Twitch channel. This is so that viewers can help the kittens that live in the shelter with donations and bits. This animal organization does rescue and adaptation work. Before the release of Stray, he would do live broadcasts where he would show rescued kittens on camera while playing other titles like Final Fantasy VII Remake, etc. This, of course, to raise funds to cover the costs inherent in a shelter.

Fortunately, the science fiction video game fell like a glove for Crits for Cats. After all, broadcasting a title where the protagonist is a cute orange kitten is a good way to attract fans of these animals and raise awareness about the importance of the adaptation, as well as get donations from the audience. With any luck, more and more animal shelters and other aid organizations will join these causes and use Stray to save the lives of kittens who unfortunately live on the streets and need help.
