As previously announced, the production of the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Sirotaka, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu), revealed the first promotional video for the second season of the project. In this preview it is announced that this sequel will be released at some point in the year 2023. The platform Crunchyroll will be in charge of broadcasting the series in the West.
Rifujin na Magonote began the publication of light novels with illustrations of Sirotaka in January 2014 through the publishing label M.F. Books of Kadokawa. The manga adaptation by yuka fujikawa has been published since May 2014. The work inspired a twenty-three-episode anime adaptation produced by Studio Bindunder the direction and scripts written by Manabu Okamoto.
