While revealing few details about them, Hidetaka Miyazaki hinted at everything that awaits players in the future. The creative confirmed that ELDEN RING will receive more updates, something that many fans have already expected. The interesting thing is that he talked about an unannounced game that apparently will not take that long to arrive, as its development is nearing completion. Furthermore, he gave some details about his next big project that he is already working on as a director.

A new FromSoftware game would be closer than you think
During an interview with 4Gamer (via Gematsu), Miyazaki was asked about the active development projects they have at FromSoftware. He was reminded that in 2018 the creator talked about several unannounced games and now we know that one of them was ELDEN RING, but there is one more title that is still a mystery. Miyazaki decided to break the silence and thrill fans with information about that undisclosed game. He confirmed that the project is still on track and is currently in its final stages of development. Thus, it is not unreasonable to think that his revelation could be close. On the other hand, the creative stated that he is also already working on his next game as director. He for now only revealed that he would like to “work on a more abstract fantasy” compared to what they have done in the past. “Also, as I mentioned before, we are developing several titles from other directors, in addition to the game that I direct, but we are not at the stage where I can share any details yet. My apologies, but please wait a little longer,” Mikazaki concluded.
