Lollipop Chainsaw turned 10 years old!
In case you didn’t know, Lollipop Chainsaw was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published in Japan by Kadokawa Games, the company that owns the IP. The great Japanese creative Goichi Suda, better known as Suda51, and the famous filmmaker and actor James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad) worked on the project; in fact, the script was carried out by both celebrities. The cosplayer and Internet celebrity Jessica Nigri was the one in charge of personifying Juliet Starling, the protagonist, in real life in a cosplay that will remain for history. Then we leave you with the congratulatory messages.

Lollipop Chainsaw is coming back!
However, there would be no better way to celebrate 10 years of Lollipop Chainsaw than with the return of the franchise… and it came true. You read that right, as difficult as it would be to launch a game of this kind today, especially due to political correctness, the return of Lollipop Chainsaw will happen. This was confirmed by Yoshimi Yasuda, CEO of Dragami Games, a company that will be in charge of this return. Sadly, no further details were shared, so it’s hard to tell if this is a new game or a remake or remaster of the original installment or if Suda51 and James Gunn will be involved. However, the fans showed their happiness at the publication of the creative and some even asked that this installment reach PC (something that did not happen with the original title). “Please wait for him,” Yasuda commented.
In case you missed it: Lollipop Chainsaw inspired this scene from The Suicide Squad.

Who is Dragami Games, the studio that will bring back Lollipop Chainsaw?
If you don’t know Dragami Games, maybe it’s because it’s a brand new studio just founded. A few weeks ago, Kadokawa Games revealed that Yasuda would leave the position of president and CEO of this company (where he worked for 14 years) in June 2022, but not to retire permanently, but to occupy the same position, but at Dragami Games. This company would be established through a corporate division led by former Kadokawa Games CEO and President Yoshimi Yasuda and Kadokawa Games CEO Satoshi Fuyuno. Yasuda was reported to continue making games for Kadokawa Games (via Gematsu). As ResetEra user vestan pointed out, Dragami Games will also be responsible for DEMON GAZE, NATURAL DOCTRINE, GOD WARS, The Lost Child, Root Letter (√Letter), LoveR, Root Film, and Relayer. We will keep you informed. Are you excited for the return of Lollipop Chainsaw? Would you like a remake, a remaster or a completely new game? Tell us in the comments.
