Bridging The RiftKicking off on August 4 on the Riot Games YouTube channel, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the production and challenges that went into creating Arcane. This story will be told in 5 episodes that will be released every Thursday. Arcane, the animated series based on the popular game League of Legends that has delighted fans and newcomers to this universe, will show what happened behind the scenes of its production with the documentary series “Bridging The Rift”, which will premiere on August 4 on YouTube. From the original idea to the final result, going through the challenges that the different teams had to face, “Bridging The Rift” tells its story in 5 episodes that will premiere every Thursday between August 4 and September 1, 2022.

Co-produced by Riot Games and French animation studio, Fortiche Production, the series quickly established itself as Netflix’s #1 stream since its release in November 2021, holding that position for three weeks in a row. It also reached the top 10 in 52 countries, with a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. The series has recently won nine Annie Awards, becoming the most nominated and awarded television series of the year. It won Best TV Series, Best Character Design, and Best Screenplay, among others. “Enemy”, the Imagine Dragons song for the original soundtrack surpassed one billion views and reached number one on the Billboard charts. It is co-produced by the French studio Fortiche, which also carried out other Riot Games projects such as Get Jinxed (Imagine Dragons), Rise, Warriors and ENEMY or POP/STARS (K/DA). The series illustrates the eventful and resounding beginnings of iconic champions like Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce and Viktor, between Piltover and Zaun, in the midst of a period of unrest. The second season is confirmed but does not yet have a release date in Netflix.
