Editorial: Gaming / Facebook / Twitter / YouTube / Instagram / News / Discord /Telegram It seems that everything in video games and entertainment is fun and sometimes the problems of life seem very far away. Unfortunately, this is not the case and there is a time when it is time to give unpleasant news. The above originates from a situation exposed by ATLUS involving one of the voice actors of Persona 5, who is facing a tough battle against cancer.
Billy Kametz, voice actor of Persona 5, began his fight against cancer
Through a post on its official Twitter account, ATLUS sent an emotional message of support to actor Billy Kametz, who plays Dr. Maruki in Persona 5 and who has also worked on other publisher projects such as Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne. and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, as well as voicing Josuke Higashikata in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. What happens is that the actor found out at the end of April that he had stage 4 colon cancer, a very advanced stage of the disease, so he had to immediately start treatment to deal with it.

ATLUS invited fans to support Billy Kametz’s Gofundme for his medical expenses
Likewise, ATLUS took the opportunity to share the link to actor Billy Kametz’s Gofundme campaign, where he seeks to raise as many funds as possible so that he can pay for his treatment. In the case of cancer, the fight against the disease is very expensive and it has had to resort to the financing platform to mitigate the economic impact. Fortunately, the support has been as expected and at least money is not a concern for Kametz at this time, so he only has to wait for the treatment to take effect and he can have a new chance at life. Stay informed, in WTTSpod.
