ELDEN RING makes history in the UK
GfK revealed last week’s best-selling video games list, which was marked by the release of ELDEN RING and FromSoftware’s new beast did not disappoint commercially at all. Initially, it was confirmed that after its debut it immediately occupied the first position, breaking the dream of the first place that Horizon Forbidden West had obtained after its launch on PlayStation 5. Later, ELDEN RING made history in this European market by becoming the “Souls ” with better launch sales, surpassing what was achieved by Dark Souls III, delivery that had the first place in this section.

Due to strong sales, ELDEN RING became the third best-selling game of the year, behind only Horizon Forbidden West and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Regarding the distribution of sales in physical format, ELDEN RING registered 63% in its PS5 version, 17% in the Xbox version and 17% in PS4.
