Editorial: Gaming / Facebook / Twitter / YouTube / Instagram / News / Discord / Forums / Telegram / WhatsApp The esports scene has grown considerably in recent years. Unfortunately, the fact that several organizations and competitions made efforts to professionalize does not mean that everything is rosy in this world. We say this because there are still cases where professionals in this discipline do not receive what they deserve, as happened with a League of Legends champion team. What happens is that, as DotEsports tells, former PEACE players, current champion of the League of Legends LCO, assure that the organization has not paid them “tens of thousands” of the prize that corresponded to them for having represented the team in Worlds 2021 Through Twitter, former PEACE players like Tally and Aladoric raised their voices, assuring that they have a dispute with the team. The above since the team still owes them a lot of money from bonuses stipulated in their contract, as well as from their commission corresponding to different prizes. All of this money should have been paid out 30 days after Split 2. According to reports, there is at least one former PEACE player who is still owed close to $20,000 AUD ($14,500 USD at current exchange rates). There is another player that the organization owes more than $12,000 AUD ($8,600 USD). As you can see, this is a significant amount of money. It is worth mentioning that the last payment that these players received from PEACE was on January 20. That deposit corresponded to back wages. Since then they have not received any more money and have been waiting for 4 months for all the money they are owed. League of Legends is available for PC and Mac.
