Gaming / Facebook / Twitter / YouTube / Instagram / News / Discord / Forums / Telegram Finally, after a couple of years of development, ELDEN RING is ready to debut. The case of this game is curious, since its creator studio, FromSoftware, is not huge, but it has managed to transcend thanks to its quality. In addition, the titles that characterize the studio are so difficult that they are niche, but with ELDEN RING not only would they seek to reach more audiences, but the expectation would rise to levels never seen before… and fortunately for gaming, this Sometimes expectations are being met. If you are a veteran player, you may know of several cases in the video game industry that have left fans incredibly disappointed, such as Duke Nukem Forever, Mighty No. 9, or the more scandalous and recent Cyberpunk 2077. Experience tells us, well, that excitement or hype is a double-edged sword, but FromSoftware has proven to be adept at it, and while ELDEN RING generated high expectations like no other game in modern history, it more than delivers what it promises.

ELDEN RING is already one of the best games in history
ELDEN RING is not yet out for sale, but many media have already had the opportunity to test it and the first reviews from specialized critics have already begun to appear on various review compilation sites and show how well done ELDEN RING is. On Metacritic, for example, FromSoftware’s new title already has 45 reviews (not counting those that are in progress) and the interesting thing is that all of them are positive. The PlayStation 5 version is the highest rated, with a score of 97 out of 100, and the other versions are not far behind (95 on PC and Xbox Series X at the time of writing).
In case you missed it: you will be able to play ELDEN RING before its official release. With this, ELDEN RING is already one of the best rated games on the platform, precisely at position 15. To give you an idea, FromSoftware’s new title shares this average rating with all games up to position 6, including the 2 installments of Super Mario Galaxy, Grand Theft Auto V and even The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. That said, it would only rank behind titles like Grand Theft Auto IV (98), Soul Calibur (98), Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 (98), and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the only title to have a 99 rating. On OpenCritic, ELDEN RING is also making waves, having already become the highest-rated game in the site’s history along with Super Mario Odyssey.
In case you still doubt how well ELDEN RING is doing, one of those who could already play it is the journalist jason schreier. Through his Twitter account he has expressed how much fun he is having with the game to such an extent that he stated that it is one of the best titles he has played in his life.
Hello! Elden Ring is one of the best games I’ve ever played. It mixes the blissful wonder of Breath of the Wild with the intricate design of Dark Souls. It’s more accessible than previous From Software games, yet just as tense, punishing, and weird. A tremendous achievement.— Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) February 23, 2022
Thanks so much to all who have kept Elden Ring in the discussion and helped to boost excitement in your own unique ways. The development team couldn’t have pulled through without the motivation you provided.
Thank you.— FROMSOFTWARE／Kitao (@YasuhiroKitao) February 23, 2022
