Accelerating the “Shift Left” practice, intended to detect and prevent defects early in software development, enables teams to generate higher quality, safer and faster code On top of this, Dynatrace has announced the availability of intelligent software as code, including broad and deep observability, application security, and advanced AIOps capabilities. “Dynatrace offers intelligent observability, advanced AIOps, and application security. These features enable real-time action to ensure developers meet SLOs and improve critical business metrics,” said Steve Tack, SVP of Product Management at Dynatrace.

smart software

The availability of software makes it easy for developers, who are adopting “everything-as-code” practices, to easily incorporate smart software functionality into their applications. As a result, they can automate the orchestration of all the resources throughout the software development lifecycle that are required to deliver infrastructure and cloud-native applications at scale. In addition, they can ensure that your applications meet required standards and SLOs for critical metrics, including performance, quality, and security, or automatically initiate necessary remediation when SLOs are not met.

Dynatrace releases smart software as code

By allowing developers to access template libraries for reusable configurations, Dynatrace makes it easy for development teams to establish and adhere to organizational best practices for observability and security, without complicating the development process. This is possible through the use of APIs (Application Program Interface) that extend configuration-as-code to multiple Dynatrace capabilities, including anomaly detection and alerting, dashboards, and analytics or data enrichment.

These enhancements will be available to customers for the next 90 days.
